To all of you who are mourning the death of a loved one, I join in prayer that your mother, wife, relative and friend rest in the peace she yearned and longed for and earned in her rich and unique way. With you I also give thanks for the gift she was to you all and to so many other people. Many good memories sustain you all at this time and in the days, weeks, months and years ahead. What a gift it has been for me to join with her in so many family, academic, and religious celebrations with so many of you over the years. May we all live in the hope of meeting Kathleen on the Great Day of Resurrection. Peace to all. With promise of continued prayers especially at Eucharist, with love and blessings,
Br. Paul

I never met Kathleen Lopez but she must have been an amazing women because I have had the privilege of knowing and working with her son Tom and he is quite an amazing man. Mother's always get blamed when things aren't great with their kids so they should also get the credit when they make such a positive mark on the world as Kathleen did with her son Tom. RIP Kathleen and thank you for giving us Tom!

Kathy's family, thinking of you all in your time of sorrow. Your Mom was my best friend and will be missed by me and many others. She was so giving and caring. She just had a way that made your life more special. I will cherish all my memories forever. She loved you all and talked so much about her family. Always kind, loving and was the best listener when you needed a friend. She gave so much of herself to others and never thought twice about it. Rest my dear friend, I love you

Everyone who had the pleasure of speaking with, asking questions of, or requesting anything of Kathy Lopez is missing her tremendously. In all the years we chatted on the phone, I knew upon hearing Kathy's voice that I was in good hands and any puzzle or issue would be solved within moments. Listening to her tell about her amazing family times and sharing stories with each is what I'll miss most. May you rest easy, Kath....you were one in a million.
