Denise, Daniel, Alphée and Marguerite,
I was deeply shocked to hear the news about Randi’s passing. Though Marie and I had not seen her since the visit to the summer cottage at Parley Beach a few years back, she had left a lasting impression on us as she was very kind and always smiling. We were very impressed to see how well she was doing in school and how caring she was towards children. We know how proud you were of her and can’t imagine how painful it must be for you. Accept our sincere condolences, we share your pain and our thoughts are with you during these challenging times. Bon Courage! Love Mon Oncle Emile and Ma Tante Marie

On behalf of the Brown School staff and community I extend my deepest sympathy to Denise and Dan. The loss we feel is overwhelming and we share your grief. Randi was truly a treasure - that rare individual who could light up a room with a smile that radiated to your core. She was a passionate teacher who understood the importance of helping students succeed to be the best they could be. Generous, conscientious, passionate, kind, caring, intuitive, professional, hard-working, displaying a confidence not often found in young teachers. My heart aches for you and for the Brown School family who truly loved her...and for all the students who will not have the opportunity to have that special teacher who would have loved them, nurtured them, and helped them grow and succeed in the special and unique way that was Randi. Please know that we are all here to support you and love you.

I never got to know Randi as I graduated from westfield state in 2008. When losing a blessing in this world is always a painful time. Remember her from the good times she had and forgive and leave out the negative. Pray for her daily. Pray that any and all sins she committed during her time on earth be forgiven. As she is now with our creator whom can forgive in an instant. Plant a tree in her memory. Donate to a noble cause in her memory. May time heal your wounds. Aameen.

I couldn't believe it when I heard it. Me and Randi have been best friends since Kindergarden and went to school with each other until 6th grade. Even though we went to different schools afterwards, we always had time to go to the movies or go bowling or do anything fun. She had her life going perfectly. I saw her last month and she said she was to be a teacher at our old elementary school, Captain Samuel Brown. I'm still in shock after hearing this. She will be dearly missed.
