Pittsfield – William A. Boudreau, 77, of Pittsfield, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, May 29, 2023.
Born on November 29, 1945 in Milford, MA; he was the son of the late William F. Boudreau, Jr. and Ruth B. (Williams) Boudreau.
Right after high school William took several courses to become a Floral Designer, making a name for himself for many years to come, through the years he worked at Gateway Florist (now Coles), Jacques and McCleod’s, he even earned the title of one of the top 10 florists in New England for his amazing floral designs. Mr. Boudreau was very invested in his community and enjoyed volunteering his time, he spent years with the scouts, the Rotary as well as a volunteer with the Pittsfield Fire Department and held the position of President of the Lions Club and a former exalted member of the Elks Club out of Milford, MA. William’s retirement found him occupying his time with gardening, doing stained glass, listening to music and continuing to tinker with his 1975 Chevy that had been passed down through the generations.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his only sister, Kim Boudreau Hussey.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Veno) Boudreau of Pittsfield, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage, children, Carole Otash and her husband Wayne of Durham, Leslie Hussey and her husband Jaime of Alton and Shane Boudreau and his wife Wendy of Barnstead, eight grandchildren, Andrew, Tiffani, Aaron, CJ, Dustin, Joe, Nick and Wayne, Jr. as well as eight great grandchildren, Emily, Allyce, Bella, Becka, Lilli, Mayce, William and John.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 from 5PM-7PM at the Roan Family Funeral Home – Still Oaks Chapel, 1217 Suncook Valley Highway, Epsom. Interment will be held at a later date at the Riverview Cemetery in Barnstead.
