Walter W. Steeves

NORTHWOOD – Walter W. Steeves, 78 of Northwood, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020 surrounded by his family at home.

Born on October 24, 1942 in Malden, MA; he was the son of the late Roy Chesley and Mildred Wilhelmenia (McKean) Steeves.

Walter was a character, who loved to debate with anyone that would participate. He was a jack of all trades, using his skills as a maintenance worker at Epsom Valley Campground during later years. He enjoyed traveling cross country with his wife and looked forward to future trips.

He is survived by his wife Jean (Gould) Steeves of Northwood with whom he shared 42 years of marriage, sons, Roy Steeves of Northwood and William Steeves and his fiancé, Jennifer Heinrich of Hampstead, brothers, Roy Chesley Steeves, Jr. and his wife Carol of Hampstead and David George Steeves and his wife Karen of Nashua, granddaughters, Jenna and Alexia Steeves, Mina and Haley Ayles as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 12 Noon at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery Boscawen.
