PITTSFIELD- Thomas Edward Marston passed away on June 15, 2021 after a period of illness. Tom was the son of Harvey and Frances Marston.
Tom was a lifelong farmer, and was immensely proud of being an eighth-generation farmer to work on the Marston family’s dairy farm. He was a fixture at many of the local fairs where he showed his cattle, pulled tractors, and visited with his many friends.
He was also a partner in the family’s school bus company, and was proud to have delivered the children of Pittsfield and surrounding towns to and from school for 50 years.
Tom served the Town of Pittsfield as a selectman for several years, and he loved his community and his neighbors.
He was a 40-year member of Corinthian Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons in Pittsfield, where he coordinated and ran the annual Christmas tree sale for several years.
A friend to many, he is remembered for his fun-loving attitude, quick wit, and sense of humor.
He leaves behind his wife, Tammie and his five children; Jackson, Hannah, Peter, Christopher, and Benjamin; his grandchildren; as well as his siblings Elizabeth, Samuel, and Virginia, their families, and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours, and a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home in Epsom. To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.stilloaks.com
