Steven C. Noel

BENNINGTON, VT- Mr. Steven C. Noel, 72, of Bennington, VT formerly of Concord, passed away at the Vermont Veterans Home on Sunday, November 15, 2020 after a period of declining health.

Born in Manchester, Steven was the son of the late Chester and Evelyn (Petersen) Noel. 

Steve enlisted in the United States Army in 1968 and served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the 173rd Airborne Brigade.  During that time, he was a Paratrooper in the Combat Artillery Unit.  He was honorably discharged in 1970 with the rank of Corporal.

In addition to his parents, Steve was predeceased by his brother, Bruce Noel.

He is survived by three brothers: Jean Noel of Pembroke, Mark Noel of Epsom and Brian Noel of Bow.

There are no calling hours.  A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, November 24th at 1 P.M. in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.  Assisting the family with arrangements is the Petit-Roan Funeral Home in Pembroke.  To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.petitroan.com
