Peter G. Obuchon

PEMBROKE- Mr. Peter G. Obuchon, 51, of Pembroke, passed away on December 1, 2022.

Born in Norwood, MA, Pete was the son of Paula (Sinclair) Obuchon and her husband Maurice Guernon of Hudson, NH and the late Peter M. Obuchon.  He was raised and educated in Dedham, MA and was a graduate of Dedham High School.

Pete spent the better part of his life in the automotive industry, starting out as a lot attendant and working his way up to his dream of ownership.  For the past 16 months, he owned and operated Obie97 Automotive in Allenstown with his daughter, Ariel and was known as “the last honest salesman alive.”  Opening that shop was their dream together.

Pete had a lifelong love of motorcycles as well as dogs.  Amongst his motorcycle friends, he was affectionately known as “Kicker.”  He was also a race car driver and raced at Hudson Speedway for 8 years, winning the Sportsmanship Award.  He also loved sailing on Lake Champlain.  Pete was an amazing and patient man with the biggest heart, ready to give you the shirt off his back.  He is loved by all and will be greatly missed by all.

In addition to his mother, Pete is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 26 years, Tammy (Townley) Obuchon of Pembroke; his two daughters, Ariel and Starr; his brother, Michael C. Obuchon of West Hartford, CT as well as countless friends.
