ALLENSTOWN- Janet A. (Beliveau) Olmstead, 72, of Allenstown, passed away peacefully after a sudden illness on February 5, 2021.
Born in Manchester, Janet was the daughter of the late Henri and Germaine (Lemire) Beliveau. She was a graduate of the Villa Augustina High School.
She worked for the Telephone Company and was a Supply Technician for the VA. She later transferred to the Army National Guard as a Civil Service employee, working as a Purchasing Agent for USPFO NH.
Janet loved spending time at the beach, especially hunting for sea glass. She loved reading, playing Bingo, going to the theatre, yard sales and spending time talking with family and friends. She loved animals, especially cats.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Eric Olmstead, her sister, Lucille J. Caron, and her brother Roger Beliveau.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Olmstead, her brothers, Paul Beliveau and Gerard Beliveau, her brother-in-law, Michael Olmstead and his wife Katie as well as several nieces, nephews and many cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Janet's life will be held sometime in the spring at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pope Memorial SPCA, 94 Silk Farm Rd.
