Eric V. Barbasso

PITTSFIELD- Mr. Eric V. Barbasso, 53, of Pittsfield, entered into eternal life at the Concord Hospital on January 19, 2022 after a short illness.

Born in West Islip, New York, Eric was the son of the late Salvatore and Krystal (Hoffman) Barbasso and stepson of the late Virginia Barbasso.  He was raised and educated in Port Jefferson and Long Beach, where he spent most of his life before moving to New Hampshire 20 years ago.

For the past 17 years, Eric was employed as a robotic technician and IT specialist for Micross Industries.

He was an active communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Pittsfield and was a member of the Pittsfield/Northwood Council # 11606 Knights of Columbus, where he served as Financial Secretary.  He also served as comptroller for the Concord Assembly #627 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.

An avid outdoorsman, Eric enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting and camping.  He also enjoyed motorcycle riding.

In addition to his parents and stepmother, Eric was predeceased by his brother, David Barbasso.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Ellen L. (Ruh) Barbasso of Pittsfield, his brother, Adam Barbasso of Long Island, NY, 3 nieces, 1 nephew, and countless friends and colleagues.

Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, January 23rd from 1 to 4 P.M. in the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 24th at 10 A.M. in St. Joseph's Church, 844 1st New Hampshire Turnpike in Northwood.  Burial will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Eric’s memory may be sent to the Live and Let Live Farm, 20 Paradise Ln.
