Elsie R. Brison

CONCORD- Mrs. Elsie Ruth (Fox) Brison, 92, of Concord, passed away at the Havenwood-Heritage Heights on January 9, 2021 after a period of declining health.

Born in Somerville, MA, Elsie was the daughter of the late George and Ruth (Nickerson) Fox.  She was raised and educated in Somerville and had resided in New Hampshire for over 60 years.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as the Business Manager for the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association and also worked as the church secretary for the United Baptist Church of Concord.

Elsie loved traveling, especially her trips to Ocean Park, Maine, reading and going to the movies.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert A. Brison, her brother, George Fox and her sister, Esther Yeamans.

She is survived by her two daughters: Nancy Fraher and her husband Gerard and Robin Scott and her husband Tracy all of Chichester; three grandchildren, Suzanne Fraher, Elizabeth Ecker and her husband Nate and Ashley Getman and her husband Chris; and four great grandchildren, Windsor, Jackson, Henry, and Isaac.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no calling hours.  A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 14th at 12 P.M. in the New Hampshire State Veteran’s Cemetery in Boscawen.  In accordance with state and local guidelines, all attendees must wear face-coverings and adhere to social distancing as directed.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the New Hampshire Veterans Home Resident Benefit Fund, 139 Winter St. Tilton, NH 03276 or the Ocean Park Association, PO Box 7296 Ocean Park, ME 04063.  Assisting the family with arrangements is the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home in Epsom.  To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.stilloaks.com
