Christopher MacRae Obituary

ALLENSTOWN- Christopher Alan MacRae, 49, of Allenstown, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital on January 20, 2023 after a sudden illness. 

Born in Concord, Chris was the son of Alan MacRae and his wife Amy of Fredericksburg, VA and Sherry Boynton and Kenneth (predeceased) of Allenstown.  He was raised and educated in Allenstown and resided there his entire life. 

Chris was employed by Cobham Electronic Solutions as a planner for nearly 15 years.  He enjoyed computer gaming, riding motorcycles and fixing any piece of technology he could get his hands on.  Chris had an outgoing, funny personality who loved to make others laugh.  He took advantage on every occasion that he could to wear his famous kilt.  Above all else, he cherished the time spent with family. 

In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his two children: Logan MacRae of Manchester and Connor MacRae of Allenstown; his two sisters, Amy Boynton of Windham and Tracy Matthews and her husband Brian of Virginia as well as his nieces, nephews and friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 26th from 5 to 8 P.M. in The Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St. in Pembroke.  Private burial will take place in the spring.  To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.roanfamilyfuneral.com
