Barbara J. Arnone

HOOKSETT – Barbara J. Arnone, 59, of Hooksett, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House with her family by her side following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on November 23, 1961 in Winchester, she was the daughter of the late James and Patricia (Pepin) McAuley.

Barbara worked for many years as a receptionist for Associates in Podiatry of Bedford, NH until a few weeks ago. She was a loving woman, enjoying time with her family and friends, going for rides with her beloved husband in their 1967 Camaro and was a proud mom who attended her kids sporting events to cheer them on. She loved simple things, bird watching, suntanning and being on the water on her son’s boat, watching the Bruins or a favorite classic movie. She always wanted people to live life to the fullest and lived by the motto “Live each day like it is your last.”

She is survived by her husband, Philip Arnone, Jr. of Hooksett with whom she shared 34 years of marriage, children, Philip Arnone, IV and his wife, Morgan of Bow, NH, Rebecca Arnone and her fiancé Steve Beneduce of Cranston, RI and Melissa Arnone of Worcester, MA, siblings, James McAuley, Elaine Mitchell, Kathy Wardrip, Regina McAuley, Patricia McKenna, Mary Roberts, Brian McAuley, Mark McAuley, Thomas McAuley and Theresa Quilty as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 7th from 10AM-12PM at the Petit-Roan Funeral Home, 167 Main Street, Pembroke. All guests must wear face-coverings and are encouraged to follow CDC & DHHS Guidelines regarding COVID safety. A Graveside service will be held at 12:30PM at Head Cemetery in Hooksett. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gateways Community Services, 144 Canal Street, Nashua, NH 03064.
