William "Bill" Celen Obituary

ALLENSTOWN- Mr. William “Bill” Celen, age 51, of Allenstown, passed away at Concord Hospice House surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester, Bill was the son of Richard J. Celen and Mildred (Hazzard) Woodward.  He was raised and educated in Manchester and lived in Florida for a time before settling in Allenstown.

Prior to his illness, he was employed for over 27 years as a door and window-maker for Harvey Building Products in Waltham, MA.

Bill enjoyed photography, kayaking, drumming, Nascar, and building mirrors and mosaics.  His sense of humor was second to none.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara L. “Barbie” (Hurlburt), who passed away in March of 2017.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two daughters: Meagan LaDuke and her husband Jeffrey and Kim Celen all of Allenstown; one sister, Cynthia Hinxman of Londonderry, and his two granddaughters who he loved to lovingly pick on, Isabella and Madilynn.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal services.  Donations in his memory may be sent to Concord Regional Visiting Nurses Association Hospice, 30 Pillsbury Street, Concord, NH 03301.  Assisting the family with arrangements is the Petit-Roan Funeral Home in Pembroke.  To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.petitroan.com
