Richard Boucher Obituary

EPSOM- Mr. Richard L. “Dick” Boucher, 73, of Epsom, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Epsom Healthcare Center after a period of declining health.

Born in Lowell, MA, Dick was the son of the late Rudolph and Eva (Raymond) Boucher.  He enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of 17 and proudly served his country for a little over four years during the Vietnam era. He settled in N. Chelmsford, MA, where he and his wife lived for many years before moving to New Hampshire 15 years ago.

Prior to his retirement in 1996, Dick was employed in Logistics for the United States Air Force Civil Service.  He spent many years at the New Boston Tracking Station before being transferred to Hansom Air Force Base.

Dick was a life member of the Tyngsboro Sportsmen’s Club and the Stony Brook Fish & Game Association of Westford, MA.  An avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, he also enjoyed four-wheel drive trucks, cookouts with family and friends, the ocean, and a good lobster.

He was predeceased by his son, Gerald Boucher on February 16, 2018; his grandson, Thomas Paglieroni; and brother, Gilbert Boucher.

He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 55 years, Maureen M. (Flannery) Boucher; his three children: Richard Boucher and his wife AnnMarie of Tewksbury, MA, Shawn Boucher of Allenstown and Tracy Paglieroni and her husband Thomas of Colebrook; his grandchildren: Tinamarie Paglieroni, Krystal Boucher, Mackenzie Boucher and James Boucher; and siblings, Rudolph Boucher and his wife Toni and Jacqueline Gregoire all of Pepperell, MA.

The family will hold an intimate graveside service on June 28, 2018 at 2PM at the New Hampshire State Veteran’s Cemetery in Boscawen. A celebration of life will be held at the home of his son Richard’s at 5PM.
