ALLENSTOWN- Mrs. Carol A. (St. Cyr) Mondor, 74, of Allenstown, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2018 in the care of the Concord Hospice House after a period of declining health.
Born in Goffstown, Carol was the daughter of the late Louis A. St. Cyr and Cecile Rose Ann (Mitchell) Laferte.
Prior to her retirement, Carol worked was a kitchen worker at the Hooksett Truck Stop. She was also employed in the local mills.
Carol loved the outdoors. She was an avid animal lover, with a special devotion to cats. She loved bird watching and feeding the “bushy tails.” She also had a talent of making Christmas trees out of coat hangers.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather, Sylvio Laferte; her son, Matthew Mondor; and siblings, Leonard J. St. Cyr, Christine St. Cyr and Louis A. St. Cyr, Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Maurice and Micheal Mondor both of Hooksett; her siblings, Elaina Hebert and her husband Bob of Hooksett, Kathleen Lemieux of Allenstown and Steven J. St. Cyr and his wife Linda of Loudon. She was the loving grandmother to Terri Ann McJuary, Matthew Mondor, Jr., Joey (Mondor) McGranaghan and Zakary Ames. She is also survived by 4 great grandsons and many nieces and nephews.
