Edward L. Thibeault

CHICHESTER- Edward Louis Thibeault, 84, of Chichester passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, at home after a brief illness with family at his side. Born in Concord, NH on July 18, 1939. The son of the late Edgar and Flora (Pietraallo) Thibeault. 

Edward grew up in Pembroke, NH where he lived for 40 years. He graduated from Pembroke Academy before honorably serving in the U.S. Army, stationed overseas in Korea.

Edward began his career building boats for Pembroke Boats, before transitioning to building homes through out Central NH, which he did until his retirement.

Edward enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, gardening, dancing, spending time with friends and family and LOTS of deep sea and Great Lakes fishing. We’re going to miss “Capt’n Ed”!

He is survived by his son, Scott Thibeault and wife Cassandra of Gilmanton; daughters, Wendy Thibeault and companion John Jordan of Allenstown and Kim Aubertin and husband Scott of Pittsfield; grandchildren, Natasha, Aaron, Travis and Derrik; great-grandchildren, Kendall, Caleb and Cassidy, siblings Joan Courtemanche of Allenstown and Raymond Thibeault and wife Wanda of Palmetto, Florida, beloved long time companion, Carol Thornton of Canterbury and former wife, Roberta Thibeault of Chichester.

Honoring Edwards wishes, a private graveside service will take place at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery at the convenience of the family, with a celebration of Edwards life and adventures, to be announced at a later date.
