Lorraine R. (Gagne) (Boulet) Thiem

ROCHESTER- Mrs. Lorraine R. (Gagne) (Boulet) Thiem, 86, of Rochester, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on April 12, 2017.

Born in Allenstown on March 10, 1931, Lorraine was the daughter of the late Louis and Antoinette (Boisvert) Gagne.  She was a graduate of Pembroke Academy Class of 1950.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a weaving instructor at American Velcro for 27 years.  She also was instrumental in the founding of a plant in Agua Prieta, Mexico.  She was a past member of the Suncook VFW and the Suncook American Legio Post #28.

In addition to her parents, Lorraine was predeceased by 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Paul F. Thiem, Sr. of Rochester.  She was the loving mother to Clovis J. Boulet, Jr. of Pembroke, Vernon Boulet of Candia, Wyatt Boulet of Winthrop, ME, Lorne Boulet of Chichester and Ellen Bubier of Athens, ME.  She also leaves three step children, Beverly Stover of AZ, Carol Kelly of TX and Paul F. Thiem, Jr. of Northwood.  She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, April 20th from 5 to 8 P.M. in the Petit-Roan Funeral Home 167 Main St. in Pembroke.  A Prayer Service will be held at 7 P.M.  Burial will take place at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Lorraine’s memory may be sent to the charity of one’s choice.  To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.petitroan.com
