Kathleen (Turley) Lopez

PEMBROKE – Mrs. Kathleen (Turley) Lopez, 69, of Pembroke, was welcomed into the arms of our Lord on February 3, 2017.

Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Winifred (Curran) Turley.  She was raised and educated in New York and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from St. John’s University in New York.

Kathleen was employed as an Insurance Associate with Health Trust Insurance in Concord.  She had previously worked in New York for many years in the Social Security Administration and was also a longtime beauty consultant for Mary Kay Inc.

She was a faithful communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Concord, where she volunteered in different capacities over the course of her worship.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ernest Lopez of Pembroke.  She was the loving mother of Ernest Lopez, Jr. of Pembroke, Thomas Lopez of Nashua, Timothy Lopez and his wife Patricia of Nashua, Michael Lopez and his wife Kristen of Salem, and Christina Negron and her husband Alfredo of Derry.  She was the adoring grandmother to Brittany, Carmen, Kyle and Anthony and the great grandmother to Olivia.

Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, February 8th from 4 to 7 P.M. in the Still Oaks Funeral & Memorial Home 1217 Suncook Valley Highway in Epsom.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 9th at 10:30 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Loudon Rd.
